What is sunday like?

Our worship gathering starts at 9:30 am and ends at 10:45 am.

There is a nursery for infants and for children up to 3 years of age during our worship and christian education hours.

Our children join us for singing and praise, then are dismissed so that they may participate in an age appropriate and engaging service of their own. Feel free to escort your children upstairs or you may choose to have your kids attend the entire service with you.

We cherish worship music of all kinds and sing with joy and celebration.

You will experience both traditional and modern elements of worship. We participate in the Lord's Supper together once a month. We encourage you to bring a Bible, but the sermon text will always be provided.

A financial offering will be collected in order to support the mission and ministry of our congregation.

While our members support the work of the church, please don't feel obligated to give, but share as you feel led.

My wife, Adrienne, and I have lived many places (California, Texas, Georgia, Florida, Uganda, and Ethiopia just to name a few). We met in Florida and we go together like peas and carrots (it’s a Forrest Gump line). We have three small children and a dog name Olive - three of them are allowed to use the bathroom inside but I won’t tell you who.

I am a graduate of Carson-Newman University and received an MDiv from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, When I’m not meeting with people or sipping coffee with a friend, you can find me with my nose in a book or on the basketball court… not dunking. Reading, and in particular, books on theology, is very important to me because I believe when used appropriately, the teaching in these books can enable the people of God to love Him and enjoy Him better. I revel in the thought of making the deep truths of God accessible to every Christian in a way that enhances their personal walk with Christ.

So whether you’ve been a Christian for a very long time,

or maybe you’re just checking things out, come find me and let’s have a chat.
