  • Brian March

    Senior Pastor

Welcome to Broadneck EP Church! My name is Brian March and I’m the Senior Pastor of this wonderful Bible believing church on the Broadneck peninsula. I completed my MDiv in 2013 at the Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, and was called by BEP shortly after as an Associate Pastor. I began my ministry career in Lakeland, Florida, but have also served as a missionary in Ethiopia. It was serving the Lord in Ethiopia when I answered the call of God to finish seminary and pursue pastoral ministry. I’ll always have a heart for missions, but I absolutely love preaching, teaching, and shepherding the people of God in our church and community.

My wonderful wife Adrienne and I love it here. Our three children (two boys, one girl) also love their church friends at BEP, and have found it a wonderful place to worship and know God. Adrienne and I are also foster parents, and have enjoyed walking through the ups and downs of foster care with our church family.

I invite you to come and worship with us on Sundays if you’ve not already attended. I preach God’s Word and Christ and Him crucified. We seek to be a loving church, centered on God’s Word, true to the Reformed faith as taught in the Scriptures, and we’d also love to meet you.

  • Jon Pickens

Associate Pastor (Director of Student Ministries)

My wife, Amy, and I met and became friends while attending and working with the youth at the church where we grew up in Montgomery County, MD. We enjoy being outside (hiking, biking, camping, and the like), food, and just hanging out with people. I graduated from Geneva College, outside of Pittsburgh, with a degree in civil engineering. A civil engineering degree trained me to do several things…pastoral ministry was not one of them. So I attended Reformed Theological Seminary in McLean, VA where I received an MDiv. After seminary I served as an assistant pastor northeast of Philadelphia. I enjoy reading and, like Brian, reading theology. The gospel of Jesus Christ is awesome and being able to know Christ is the greatest privilege someone can possess. For me, being able to teach and preach Jesus Christ and pastor his people is the greatest job to be had.

  • Kevin Amos

    Worship Director

    Part-Time Ministry Staff

I was born and raised in the Annapolis area and accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior at age 16 while attending South River High School. I'm a graduate of St. Mary's College in southern Maryland with a degree in Economics and Secondary Education. My beautiful wife Sharon and I have a wonderful combination of 5 children and step-children. We include my son Dan in that total even though he is no longer with us here on this earth but living in the glorious light of Christ in heaven with his beautiful bride Kayla. Music has always been my passion. I thank God for the gift of music in my life and the ability to share it with all His people. I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve at Broadneck E.P. Church and am blown away by the genuine sincerity and love of the body of Christ attending here!

  • Heather Deterding

    Children's Director

    Part-Time Ministry Staff

I grew up in a family with parents who love to serve God and His church, especially in ministries to children. I met my husband Steve at our denomination's beloved middle school camp, Victory Jam, where we were youth interns-- he was with BEP and I was with another local congregation. We both attended Grove City College, where I earned a degree in Elementary Education. After I graduated in December 2005, I married Steve and joined him at BEP. We have five wonderful daughters who are as fun and as different as can be! We love gathering people together at our home and we love being a part of this church family. I've been on the Children's Ministry Team since 2008, alongside many wonderful ministry coordinators and teachers. As we partner with parents in making disciples of the next generation, it is my prayer that our kids would grow in their knowledge and love of God, see themselves as important and loved members of the body of Christ, and share the good news of the gospel with others. It is a privilege to encourage and equip young families to abide in Christ and make Him the center of their lives and homes.

  • Dan Bajus

    Business Manager

    Part-Time Staff

Dan has lived in Annapolis since high school, he played lacrosse for Vanderbilt and has coached for years. He and his wife Stacy have four daughters.  He is one of our church leaders, using his business experience to help shepherd the logistics of the church office and staff.

  • Courtney Della

    Office Manager & Ministry Support

I proudly hail from West Virginia and happily call the Broadneck Peninsula home. My husband, Brian, and I came to BEP for the Christ-centered youth ministry in 2001. Our youngest daughter lives and works in West Virginia, our oldest daughter and her husband live in Annapolis, and our son and daughter-in-love are in South Dakota.

Serving others for God is in BEP's "DNA." The Lord has blessed us abundantly with our family here at BEP and I enjoy serving at the “kitchen table” here in the office, our first priority is the person walking through the door, stop by if you need any help!

  • Tanya McGrath

    Administrative Assistant & Care Coordinator

My husband, Pat and I live in Annapolis, MD. We have one son, two daughters and one granddaughter. I am originally from New Jersey and met my husband in Annapolis. We have attended BEP for several years, and have found it a very warm and welcoming place to worship. I enjoy painting, running, singing on the worship team and spending time with family and friends. I consider it a blessing and a privilege to serve in the BEP office. It is wonderful to witness God working in and through the body of Christ here throughout the week.

  • Theresa Deschamps

    Receptionist

    Part-Time Staff

I've been a member of BEP since the 90's. I have two grown children and love doing puzzles, crosswords and all kinds of games on the computer. I'm involved in many different areas of BEP.
