Depart: Friday, 4:15 PM Return: Sunday, 5:00 PM We will be leaving from and arriving back at the church (235 Bay Dale Drive, Arnold, MD 21012). What to bring: · Sleeping bag (or sheets & blanket) & pillow · Bible, Notebook, & Pen · Toiletries (soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc.) · Towel · Extra pair of shoes · Warm clothes · Extra money for dinner on the way up on Friday. What not to bring: · Electronics (ipod, mp3player, etc.; cell phones can be used for calling home, emergencies, and taking pictures, so really it may be just as well to leave it at home) · Prank equipment or fireworks · Weapons (knives, guns, land mines, the typical) · Alcohol, Tobacco, or Drugs · Anything that may hurt the staff members’ feelings, including bad attitudes This retreat will be great for learning about and growing in the Lord Jesus Christ, building friendships, enjoying time away from the distractions and busyness of life, and enjoying a fun retreat! Location: Covenant Village Retreat Center has 405 acres of land. Property has: cabins, meeting rooms, kitchen and dining room, and a bathhouse. This is a Christian retreat center designed for church and other Christian retreats. The closest town is Flintstone, MD, which is about a 2.5-hour drive from Arnold.
