GROW CONNECT SERVE

  • Mercy

God in his love has shown great mercy to us though we have not deserved it. Therefore, we desire justice and mercy and to show the love of Christ to those who are in need.

Our ministries of mercy are lead by our faithful deacons who support and advocate for those in need within our fellowship as well as outside of our church.

My Brother's Pantry: A local food bank on the Broadneck Peninsula. We take turns with neighbor churches collecting and distributing food to the needy. Contact: Taryn Gille

Habitat for Humanity: Join us for a Saturday work day and help build or restore a home for someone in need. Contact: Pete Stone

Winter Relief for the Homeless : We take turns with area churches, hosting the homeless through the winter months, supplying shelter, meals, hot showers and fellowship.

  • Winter Relief

Winter Relief is a local ministry of area churches that provides temporary shelter and meals for  homeless Annapolis area residents during the coldest months of the year. Please come be the hands and feet of Jesus. There are areas of service to fit every skill, ability and level of comfort.

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’  “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’  “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matt 25:34-40

  • Mission

Our purpose is to glorify God by promoting a discipling, mission-minded environment at BEP that provides spiritual and financial support primarily to our church family serving here and around the world so that the gospel is advancing as orphans, widows, and aliens discover their God-given calling and purpose and are enabled to be and to make disciples. Matthew 28:19-20, James 1:27

  • Women

Our desire is to experience community by strengthening relationships with the Lord and with each other; investing in each other and “one-anothering” each other as sisters in Christ, and serving each other in practical ways.

We offer Bible Studies, yearly retreats, and other opportunities for

    spiritual and relational growth.

Our Winter/Spring 2024 Bible Study is In View of God's Mercies, a study of Romansby Courtney Doctor.  Register HERE.

  • Men

Growing together and sharing life in Christ through transparency and loyalty.

Finding our status and significance in Christ so that we are empowered to be godly men, husbands, fathers, friends, professionals and church members.

Serving Christ in our marriages, families, church and community.

Teaching and encouraging men how to honor God in the responsibilities they already have and encourage men to serve the church and community through currently established ministries. Our goal is authenticity with Christ and with each other.

Key Principle: “Do the things you would do any way, but bring a friend along.”

  • Students

We're pursuing a place where friendships can be real and vulnerable,

and where there are older mentors to walk alongside students.

We're pursuing a place where God's Word is announced, explained,

    and stored up in hearts.

We're pursuing a place that declares that Jesus loves us,

saves us, & continues to provide for us.

Music

Our hope is to develop a growing culture & community of worship & worship leaders for the glory of God.

Our desire is to foster the worship of God in all facets of life. All of life, but especially our corporate worship in Christ is marked by the following postures of worship. Fearfully revering the glory of God, humble contrition and brokenness for sin, joyfully celebrating the grace of God in Christ, always founded upon the Scriptures

Our worship teams are “small groups” that lead our congregation in worship. A desired hallmark of these small groups is that they simply enjoy & love one another as they worship and lead in worship.

The structure of our music ministry is that we are made up of a "house band" and four rotating vocal teams.

Our style is a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary Christian worship music in every service. If you are a musician and feel that you have a real calling to this ministry, please contact Erica Milbourne
